FAQ

よくある質問
What kinds of development and work can I request?

We handle new development of web services and business systems, finishing and launching products that stalled mid-development, improvements to existing systems, and ongoing development support.
We can also help with AI-powered browser operation and business process automation.
You don't need to have a clear picture of what you want to build or which problem to solve. Feel free to reach out and talk it through.

Can you work with apps built with AI, or systems built by other companies?

Yes. We can look at AI-generated code as well as systems built by other development companies or engineers.
We also take over projects that have stalled mid-development, and make improvements that build on your existing code.
Whether we can take on your request, and how far we can go, is something we'll let you know after reviewing the current state of your code or system.

I want to finish an unfinished web app. Which service should I choose?

Start with a Release Rescue eligibility check.
Release Rescue is a fixed-price service that takes a small web app you've already started building all the way to a finished, launched product.
Even if it looks like only a few fixes are left, you don't have to estimate the amount of work yourself.
If your project falls outside the fixed price, we can also suggest another option, such as Custom Rescue, if you'd like.

How much does development cost?

Pricing depends on the service and the details of your request.
Release Rescue is available at a fixed price of US$1,999 for eligible projects. Any applicable taxes will be confirmed before payment.
For new web product development, individual feature additions or changes, and ongoing development support, we provide a quote based on the scope and scale of the work.
You'll see the required scope and cost up front, and the final amount is confirmed before you sign a contract, so you can proceed once you're comfortable with it.

Do I need to pay a deposit? When do I pay?

Payment timing and methods depend on the service.
Release Rescue starts after an eligibility check, agreement on the scope of completion, a contract, and payment. The eligibility check on its own does not incur any charge.
For individually quoted development projects, an upfront deposit is generally not required. We'll let you know the specific invoicing and payment timing in advance, based on the project and the contract.
For monthly and other ongoing services, payment terms follow the terms of each contract.
In every case, we'll explain pricing and payment terms clearly before you sign.

How long does development take?

It depends on your request and the state of your project.
For eligible Release Rescue projects, the typical timeline is 1–3 weeks to launch, counted from when we start, once we have the information and access we need.
For new development or larger changes, we'll share an estimated timeline after reviewing the work required.
We'll confirm a specific timeline before you sign, based on the scope of work and the conditions for starting.

Do I need to join online meetings or phone calls?

For Release Rescue, no sales calls are required in most cases. We can work primarily through written messages, shared code, and project files.
For other projects, we're happy to discuss the best way to communicate based on your preferences and the nature of the project.
To get started, just tell us about your project through the contact form.

Do I need an ongoing contract after delivery or launch?

No. An ongoing contract isn't required for every development project.
Release Rescue is a service that ends at launch, and neither an ongoing contract nor additional development is required after that. If you'd like to add new features later, you're welcome to contact us again.
For products we've already launched through Release Rescue, additional development on that same product is available at a preferential rate.
If you need an ongoing development setup, we can also introduce our ongoing development support services.

Can I pay in a currency other than Japanese yen, or in cryptocurrency?

Yes. In addition to Japanese yen, we accept payments in foreign currencies such as US dollars.
We also accept payments in cryptocurrencies such as USDT.
The currencies and networks available, along with any conversion amount and fees that apply, will be confirmed and shared with you before payment.
If you have a preferred payment method, please let us know when you contact us.
